ABout Erik Foreman
For sixteen years, I worked at George Lucas’ legendary Skywalker Sound with amazingly talented artists using cutting-edge gear in extraordinary ways and creating spectacular soundtracks. From ADR gigs with Robin Williams, George Lucas, Ang Lee, and Ronnie James Dio to sound design and mix work with Genndy Tartakovsky, Ryan Coogler, and Robert Rodriquez. I did it all and loved every minute. I won three Emmys.
In 2016, I moved over to Dolby Laboratories to become a member of a small content team responsible for showcasing the awesomeness that is Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. Leveraging the science of sight and sound and the engineering behind it. In my 8 years there, I became an expert in the new world of immersive audio and video, working one-on-one with artists like Hank Shocklee and Perry Farrell, VIP corporate clients from Honda and Samsung, and made dozens of demos for multiple Atmos formats highlighting the tech.
Today, I am an independent sound artist and Dolby Atmos Certified Partner. I run a business creating top tier content for companies such as Apple and Blizzard as well as consult with new and existing Atmos users. I evaluate and consult on studio configurations to help others make their own amazing immersive content.
